Digital cable VS. Regular cable ?

              The difference is that regular cable is a single channel on a single frequency.Now when we convert that single channel or frequency into digital we would compress or add multiple channels to one channel (frequency). Instead of having 70 channels now you can get  100's of channels.

Regular cable box VS. Dvr ?

       The difference there is that a regular box will let you get the cable channel's vs. a DVR  is a digital video recorder which will allow you to program your favorite  show at a predetermined time you set,just like a vcr without a tape.

Do I need a cable box ?

   Depending on which area or state you live in , will depend on what type of equipment  you will need.Just like satellite you do need a box for every tv in your house.

What is the difference between internet speed ?

           The difference is the provider you use. Some claim that they have a better speed than others you would have to check with your local provider to determine the difference.

What is the difference between company's ?

              You would have to check with your local providers to see what company has a better option and a better service.

Difference between cables? 

             There are different types of hook ups.There is analog digital the High Definition .Lets start with analog there is your cable coming into the house which is Rg 6 or coax cable.Then you have the composite cable which would be your yellow(video) red and white (audio) or your s-video which looks like coax cable but if you look at the end connector it has 6 pins.The there is digital cables which would be your component video that would be red, green and blue there  is no audio.Then you have your digital audio cables  or which support 5.1 those cable would be digital audio (orange) or optical cable.
